Perché l'anello è più sicuro della carta?

Quando colleghi una carta di pagamento al tuo anello miPAGO, viene generato un identificativo della carta, chiamato token, che differisce dal numero originale. Questo token può essere utilizzato esclusivamente con il tuo anello e per nessun altro tipo di transazione (che sia essa fisica oppure online). Di conseguenza, l'anello dei pagamenti è protetto da eventuali clonazioni. Anche in caso di una violazione dei dati presso uno dei negozi in cui hai effettuato un acquisto, il numero di carta associato rimarrà inaccessibile. Inoltre, il token è crittograficamente legato al singolo dispositivo, quindi non può essere trasferito su altri accessori di pagamento (detti wearables). In sintesi, i pagamenti con l'anello dei pagamenti offrono un alto livello di sicurezza, anche superiore rispetto a quelli effettuati con una carta fisica.
